When I was about eight years old, I was given a Brownie camera to take to summer camp. I discovered that I loved to take photos of my camp counselors and all the activities.
Later that summer I found out that one of my camp counselors had passed away. I found looking at her photos very comforting and memories of her still linger. This started my life-long passion for taking photos and using them to create visual stories.
As an adult, I have traveled to Japan, to Taos in New Mexico, and place like Wyoming to experience these cultures. And, along the way, I have collected a huge collection of imagery that inspires me to create my art.
Having a camera at an early age, has enabled me to consistently explore my creative muse.
